It is vital that agencies both work & train together to safeguard children. 

Research has shown that multi agency training is highly effective in helping professionals understand their roles & responsibilities, procedures & create a shared understanding of assessment & decision making practices. (Ref; Working Together to safeguard children 2010 - Ch4)

Because of this the Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Board (RBSCB) provides a Multi Agency Safeguarding Children Training Programme for all agencies in Rochdale Borough working with children & families.

The Multi Agency Training Programme is co-ordinated & developed by the RBSCB Training & Development Implementation Group.
